Well it's been close to 30 years since the last time I say The Vibrator in concert, wow do I feel old.
This line was minus Knox who is resting do to a health problem replacing him is Nigel Bennett(Ex Member's) along with Eddie on drums and Pete on Bass. The guy's started out with one of the Vibrator's classics "London Girl" which was a surprise to me I was guessing it would be towards the middle of the set.
Some of the highlights for me was Nigel singing Members hit "Sounds of the Suburbs" also hearing "Whips and Fur" live was great, other classic Vibrator song that they did were Vibrator,4875,War Zone and X-File. The crowd was a young crowd who outside myself and maybe six other folks haven't been alive as long as the Vibrator's have been a band, but with that said when the band went into "Baby Baby" the crowd sang right along with them.
The Vibrators have a new album come out in June called garage Punk which all the songs are classic 50's thru early 1st generation punk songs. After performing "baby Baby" the band left the stage and return to for a two song encore the first song they played was Vince Taylor "Brand New Cadillac" which was made popular by The Clash following this was The Vibrator's classic "Automatic Lover" all and all was a great night for me and if you have a chance to catch The Vibrators do it.
Till next Time Be Safe in the Pit
